About the Program

The degree programme prepares students for a business and economics-related career in an international environment and teaches the professional and interdisciplinary skills and methods that are necessary for this. To this end, students are familiarised with basic knowledge of scientific and practical methods of business administration as well as the associated teaching areas (including quantitative methods such as mathematics and statistics). In addition, key qualifications such as scientific work, the ability to work in a team, presentation techniques and soft skills are taught. In addition to subject-specific skills, foreign language competence is of central importance. All modules of this degree programme are taught in English. During the year abroad at one of our partner universities, the acquired knowledge is applied and intensified. In the course of the year abroad, there is the possibility to specialise in the subject and/or in another chosen foreign language. On the one hand, students achieve a first professional qualification within the framework of higher education, which enables access to the private sector, freelance professions or the higher civil service at home and abroad. On the other hand, the theoretical scientific contents of the degree programme provide the necessary entry qualification for a subsequent Master's degree programme at a domestic or foreign university.
