International Computer Science BSc

About the Program

Computer science is the driving force behind many innovations. It permeates all areas of life, and it will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. Our International Computer Science BSc programme is aimed at students who are interested in a concrete education covering the broad field of application-oriented computer science with a particular focus on the development of software engineering in a global context. The programme is run in English and qualifies students for a spectrum of career opportunities within the global IT market. It is completed over seven semesters and is characterised by a high degree of practical relevance. Many modules offer practical exercises through exciting "hands on" projects in our modern laboratories. Our Bachelor’s degree programme teaches the foundation in the various computer science areas. Problem solving in different programming languages is taught as well as global software solutions. Additionally, you will learn the mindset of computer science by developing algorithms, learning how to build user-friendly systems and how to protect them from attacks. German or Spanish as a foreign language complements the international flair of the curriculum nicely and can be practically implemented during the fifth semester industrial placement. This is a fantastic opportunity at a well-known company or an exciting start-up in Germany or even abroad.
