About the Program

MIDE (International and Development Economics) allows students to gain expertise in the area of international trade relations with a strong focus on development. The program comprises several international and development economics modules as well as interdisciplinary courses selected on the basis of their relevance to current events and discourse in the development field. With an average yearly intake of forty students from twenty plus different nationalities, MIDE fosters a cohesive group experience and diversity. 85% of MIDE graduates work in positions that allow contributions to the achievement of the SDGs, particularly SDG 1: No Poverty, SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, and SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure.

Application Requirements

* 180 ECTS (veya eşdeğeri) ile ilk akademik derece
* Ekonomi alanında en az 15 ECTS (yurt dışından başvuranlar için Ekonomi alanında 3 modül)
* Çok iyi derecede İngilizce bilgisine dair kanıt
* Derece, 180 ECTS'li üç yıllık bir Alman Bachelor derecesine eşdeğerse: mezuniyetten bu yana 6 aylık profesyonel istihdam/eğitim veya MIDE eğitimi sırasında 30 ECTS kazanımı
* 210 ECTS'ye eşdeğer lisans derecesine sahip başvuru sahipleri koşulsuz kabul alabilirler

Language Requirements

* Çok iyi derecede İngilizce bilgisine dair kanıt
* İngilizce konuşulan OECD ülkelerinden başvuranların ek dil becerisi kanıtı sunmaları gerekmez
* Seçim komitesi, yabancı bir üniversitede en az bir yıl İngilizce eğitimini tamamlamış başvuru sahipleri için dil becerisi kanıtı şartından feragat edebilir
