About the Program

Classical Antiquity presents content and methods of four disciplines of ancient studies: Greek Studies, Latin Studies, Classical Archaeology, and Ancient History. The program provides basic knowledge and skills in these disciplines. Students learn to critically reflect on content and methods and to present their acquired knowledge. They are enabled to work independently (with good supervision) as well as in teams and constructive dialogue. The 90 credit point partial degree program aims to specialize in one of the areas mentioned above - and to study another subject with the same scope.
