About the Program

The Law (B.A.) (two subjects) programme allows students to combine legal studies with another subject area. Students acquire in-depth knowledge in at least two of the three major areas of applicable law: civil law, public law and criminal law. The programme focuses on legal interpretation, subsumption techniques, and case solutions. Students learn to apply scientific principles to various legal problems. The goal is to acquire subject and methodology-related skills in legal knowledge and methods of legal action. The programme includes lectures, seminars, written examinations, assignments, and oral examinations. In-depth study is possible in areas such as principles of law, private and public commercial law, employment law, media law, European and international law, international commercial law, international criminal law, criminology, and medical law. Students can also take subject-related foreign language courses and key qualification courses. The programme allows for individual career planning through targeted study in specific areas of law.
