About the Program

A four-semester Master's degree in Lied Interpretation focusing on teaching the main artistic subject. Pianists, singers and permanent Lied duos are trained with the aim of performing the Lied repertoire at a high artistic level in musical life. The central artistic work on the art song repertoire is supplemented by projects and seminars accompanying the course, in which artistic excellence is complemented by theoretical, academic and practical reflections. The Music Career Center is an integral part of the degree course, which also promotes extra-musical and job market-relevant skills to facilitate the transition from studying to a self-organized professional life. A wide range of electives offers students the opportunity to further develop and deepen their own skills.
