About the Program

This Master's program is designed for designers, artists, photographers, and creators who love a challenge. It aims to enhance career prospects and creative potential for students from various disciplines including graphic design, advertising design, illustration, photography, animation, computer game design, and multimedia design. The program creates an inspiring and dynamic environment with a mix of international and German students. Students develop their creative practice, expand their practical portfolio, and explore digital and visual communication theory. The curriculum includes modules such as Contemporary Contexts in Digital and Visual Communication (20 credits), Creative Methods in Context (20 credits), Development Processes in Digital and Visual Communication Practice (40 credits), Experimental Processes in Digital and Visual Communication Practice (40 credits), and Realization in Digital and Visual Communication (60 credits). Upon completion, students have the opportunity to exhibit their final major project at the MA Show, with current collaborations with Wolverhampton Art Gallery and New Art Gallery Walsall.
