About the Program

The Master's Programme Digital Narratives is a 4-semester full-time program where media and creative professionals gain theoretical and practical skills to critically engage with digital media, experiment with different formats, and create their own digital narrative projects. The program focuses on immersive technologies, interactive storytelling, and AI in media production, training creative storytellers to master narrative formats and production techniques of emerging digital media. Students work with a research-creation approach, critically engaging with new technologies while developing their own artistic and academic practice. Key areas include conceptualization and production of digital narrative projects (web series, XR/VR/AR projects, interactive documentaries), work with emerging technologies (Extended Reality, AI, interactive media), immersive narratives, creative development, and critical analysis of ethical, social, and cultural implications of digitization. Students develop a master's project with an allocated budget as part of their MA thesis.
