About the Program

The Master's Programme Entertainment Producing is a unique study programme in the German-speaking world for the production of non-fictional entertainment formats. The guiding principle of the programme is the creative entertainment producer who, together with the creative team, develops and produces innovative formats for a highly dynamic and competitive media market, while being able to bear the economic and personal responsibility. Key areas include: development, production, and evaluation of entertainment formats; creative leadership, strategy, innovation, collaboration, management, and law; entertainment history and media transformation processes, market and media research; social responsibility in the entertainment industry. The part-time master's programme was developed on the initiative and with the support of the Film- und Medienstiftung NRW and in close cooperation with the production industry.
