About the Program

More than a numbers game: This program allows students to delve into mathematical theories and methods and spark interest in mathematics in others. The double major Bachelor's degree programme consists of two sub-programmes (first and second major) and an area of specialisation plus internships and/or school placements as well as a final module. Study contents include analysis, linear algebra, mathematical modelling, differential equations, introduction to stochastics, statistical methods, introduction to mathematical optimisation and numerical analysis, didactics, geometry, basic elements of mathematics, elements of arithmetic and algebra, geometry and mathematics-related information and communication technology, algebra and number domains, applied mathematics, coordinates, functions, curves and surfaces, and basics of mathematics education. With the appropriate combination of majors, graduates can apply for a consecutive Master of Education degree programme.
