Both mechanical engineering and mechatronics are key disciplines of the 21st century, which, especially when combined, provide solutions for a growing number of technical and industrial challenges. Our Master's programme in "Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics" combines the fundamental and specialized knowledge from these classic engineering disciplines in a scientifically rigorous and practically oriented manner. Such a holistic approach to complex technical systems represents a strategic competitive advantage for innovative companies and offers excellent career prospects, both now and in the future. The programme provides maximum flexibility with one compulsory module and a wide range of elective modules. Students can choose from four specializations: General Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics and Robotics, Simulation, or Materials and Production Engineering.
