About the Program

Mechatronics and robotics are two important key technologies for the upcoming digital revolution in economy, science, society and public administration. Mechatronics bases on three engineering sciences: mechanical, electrical and software engineering. They are the basic components of Industry 4.0 and thus play a decisive role in determining the manufacturing and production processes of the digital future. The Bachelor's programme in Mechatronics and Robotics is a seven-semester, full-time course programme with a high proportion of practical training. It is modularized and accredited according to current standards. The workload is 210 ECTS credit points. The degree qualifies you for a job as engineer in european industry. After graduation a continuation of study in a consecutive master's course programme of three semesters is possible.
