About the Program

The Media and Communications degree course provides students with a comprehensive qualification for media and communications professions requiring digital skills. In close cooperation with Germany's top media companies, including publishing houses, television broadcasters and radio stations, as well as the communications and marketing departments of high-profile companies, students acquire innovative insights on trends in digitalisation. Graduates are able to independently design and manage digital communications processes. The course focuses on six areas: digital publics, digital media conception and production, media economics and management, data analysis for digital media, information and communications technology, and data visualisation. The course is six semesters long and concludes with a Bachelor's thesis.
