About the Program
Do you want to do more than just work in media? Are you interested in "creating media", in other words developing new devices and innovative technical systems? Media technology already plays a significant role in industry and research and is emerging as a highly attractive area of research and application of the future within innovative areas such as virtual and augmented reality, particularly against the background of the ever increasing complexity of everyday communication. The bachelor's program in Media Technology is designed as an interdisciplinary program closely linked to professional practice, and equips students with the wide range of technical-engineering skills required to help shape the future. The program is the only one of its kind to be offered at university level in the Berlin/Brandenburg region and provides a special focus on image and video technology, language and audio technology, and human-machine interaction.
