About the Program

The Media Technology program is the ideal combination of audiovisual media and digital communication, complemented by important aspects of media technology. Students learn both technical know-how and creative skills. In practice-oriented modules, different fields of work in audio, video and web technology are presented, and students have the opportunity to specialize in an exciting topic related to media production, development and design. The program begins with engineering fundamentals such as mathematics, physics and electrical engineering. In the first four semesters, the basics in audio and video technology, computer science, web development, and fundamentals in design, printing and content creation are taught. Students are also given tools to manage projects, lead teams and think economically. After the broad basic education, students deepen their knowledge through elective courses, which are further intensified after the internship in the 5th semester and lead to the final bachelor thesis in the 7th semester.
