About the Program

The MA Mediation in Dance program focuses on the body as mediator. It offers diverse professional perspectives in cultural education and mediation work. The program develops and deepens dance-specific competencies in a learning environment that practically and analytically fosters innovative approaches to mediation. Students examine singular artistic practices, conditions of collective learning processes, aspects of bodily reflexivity and embodied learning. The curriculum includes dance-artistic-choreographic approaches, body and training practices, inter- and transdisciplinary approaches to knowledge transfer, and artistic research methods. Students can set their own focal points through elective modules and mentor support.
