About the Program

The consecutive Master's program in Media Informatics is offered in close cooperation with four other universities in the 'Virtual University of Applied Sciences' network. The special feature of this program is that courses are set up across locations, allowing students from all five universities to participate in each course. The online format enables virtual proximity and good accessibility to lecturers and fellow students despite physical distance. Regular video conferences deepen the learning content. Exams at the end of the semester take place in Emden. Building on a Bachelor's or Diploma degree in Media Informatics or another subject with a focus on media or computer science, the Master's program offers the opportunity to expand and deepen your knowledge and develop your analytical, methodological, and social competencies. Depending on the specialization, the focus is on Mobile Computing, Software Technology & Web Business, Human-Computer Interaction, or Interactive 3D.
