About the Program

The M.Sc. Medizintechnik expands and deepens knowledge and skills in engineering sciences and human medicine. It is supported by the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology of the TU Darmstadt in cooperation with the Department of Medicine of the Goethe University Frankfurt. 80% of the course content is offered by the TU Darmstadt (e.g. engineering sciences, computer science, social sciences and humanities). 20% of the course content is offered by the Goethe University Frankfurt (human medicine). The program offers thematic focuses including Medical Imaging and Image Processing; Radiation Physics and Technology in Medicine; Digital Dentistry and Surgical Robotics and Navigation; and Actuators, Sensors and Neurostimulation. The degree "Master of Science" is equivalent to the academic degree "Diplom-Ingenieur".
