About the Program

The "Nanosciences" doctoral program imparts in-depth specialist knowledge and methodological skills for independent scientific work. In addition to deepening knowledge in the respective individual field of specialization, there is the opportunity to deal with other current research areas. The program focuses on discussion of open research problems and further interdisciplinary training. During the doctoral studies program, students primarily write their dissertation, which proves their ability to achieve results that contribute to the development of the scientific field, its theories and methods through in-depth, independent scientific work. Doctoral students present their projects in a joint reporting seminar and attend subject-specific lectures and seminars to deepen their specialist and interdisciplinary knowledge.
