About the Program

The Bachelor's degree programme in Nursing combines solidary action and nursing expertise with a high level of scientific and technical orientation. The aim is to impart skills for evidence-based, scientifically sound work in clinical and non-clinical fields of nursing practice. The program includes body-related care and extensive communication skills. Training takes place in a mix of theory, skills labs, and professional practice, with students setting their own focus areas in acute inpatient nursing, outpatient acute and long-term care, and inpatient long-term care. The course alternates between theoretical and practical study phases with 2300 hours of practical training with cooperation partners. Students earn a bachelor's degree in 7 semesters, including admission to the profession. From the winter semester 2024/25, the degree programme is offered as a dual and integrated training programme.
