About the Program

In this dual Bachelor's degree program for Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, students obtain both a Bachelor of Science degree and vocational training in occupational therapy or physiotherapy in 8 semesters. The program is conducted in close cooperation with partner vocational schools ETOS – Ergotherapieschule Osnabrück e.V. and the Prof.-Grewe-Schule, School of Physiotherapy. Students learn therapeutic knowledge theoretically and apply it directly in practice through socially relevant projects where they can choose priorities according to their interests. The program focuses on incorporating scientific findings into everyday therapeutic work to improve patient care and shape social health promotion. The degree program qualifies graduates for occupational therapy or physiotherapy work, enabling them to manage complex therapeutic processes based on scientific findings. This includes communication, cooperation and coordination tasks in therapeutic services (rehabilitation, health promotion and prevention), research and development of therapeutic practice, and management and interprofessional work.
