About the Program

This is a postgraduate degree programme (Diplom) in Pharmacy. After passing the 2nd state examination in 'Pharmacy', students can enroll to deepen their knowledge in certain specialist areas, including Pharmaceutical/Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Biology, Pharmaceutical Technology and Biopharmaceuticals, Clinical Pharmacy, Industrial Pharmacy, Pharmacology and Toxicology, and History of Pharmacy. The program focuses on pharmaceutical research, including the identification of new natural products with bioactive properties and their mechanism of action at molecular level. Students will write a final thesis within 8 months to demonstrate their ability to independently work on a scientific problem.
