About the Program

The Bachelor's program in Philosophy (90 LP) provides: problem-analytical competencies; competencies in writing academic papers, interpretation and argumentation skills, competencies in recognizing types of argumentation, skills in formal-logical analysis of argumentation, the ability to incorporate knowledge of the history of philosophy into the processing of questions of theoretical and practical philosophy, assessment competencies in questions of practical philosophy and applied ethics, the ability to develop independent arguments. Career perspectives include: publishing activities (media, publishing), adult education, cultural management, activities in the private sector (management consulting, etc.). Students can directly connect to a Master's degree in Philosophy. For particularly qualified students, there is the possibility of a doctorate following the Master's degree.
