About the Program

The dual Bachelor program in Physiotherapy – Technology and Therapy with integrated vocational training aims at imparting broad basic knowledge about methods and theories of Physiotherapy. The combination of vocational education and university education enables you to acquire a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree, as well as completing a recognized apprenticeship. This dual education-integrating bachelor's degree program gives you the ability to apply the acquired knowledge to the profession, to independently identify, analyze and solve problems with scientific methods as well as to work interdisciplinary and problem-oriented, taking into account the needs of the patient. Graduates master the demands of professional practice using current scientific theories and methods, are able to conduct theory-based examinations of patients, and work self-reliantly, self-dependently, and interprofessionally. The program includes modules in Foundations of Physiotherapeutic Practice, Anatomy and Physiology, Biomechanics, Research Methods, Health Technology, and Evidence-based Practice.
