About the Program

The "Physiotherapy Plus" degree programme is aimed at physiotherapists who have completed professional training, regardless of professional experience. Within three semesters, you can obtain a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy and be ideally equipped for the increasing demands in our healthcare system. This degree programme complements practical skills already acquired during training. The course enables students to work in a scientifically sound, interprofessional and reflective manner and, in addition to practical work, enables work in teaching, science, management and professional policy matters. The main topics are scientifically sound working methods in physiotherapy (evidence-based and reflective action), the principles of professional action (shared decision making, clinical reasoning, etc.) and the various roles of health professionals according to the CanMEDS model as adapted for physiotherapy.
