About the Program

The subject Political Science provides comprehensive knowledge and application skills in three sub-areas: Political Systems Theory and Comparative Political Science, Political Theory and Philosophy, and International Politics. In the Bachelor's program, students acquire a solid subject-specific foundation and discover a wide range of political science issues. The program can be studied in the Interdisciplinary Bachelor's degree program as a major or minor subject in the Aisthesis cultural and media studies variant or in the flexible variant in the amount of up to 85 ECTS credits, in combination with at least one other subject and/or the Studium Individuale. The standard length of the program is six semesters. Students complete four required modules (20 ECTS credits) and can contribute up to 65 additional ECTS credits from a range of ten required elective modules.
