About the Program

The Premasters Programme (Brückensemester) at Gisma University of Applied Sciences is designed for students whose undergraduate degree might not fully align with the admission requirements for master's programmes. This 30 ECTS semester provides essential concepts and skills needed to thrive in chosen fields of study. The programme offers two specialized pathways—Business or Technology—depending on the chosen Master's degree. Over six months, students engage in a well-structured programme with each module requiring around 125 hours of learning (25 hours per 1 ECTS credit), including lectures, tutorials, group work, independent study, and assessments. Upon completion, students earn a Certificate of Attainment, which serves as a testament to their academic achievement and readiness for advanced studies. The Business Pathway prepares students for various MSc programmes including Business Management & Marketing, International Business Management, and others, while the Tech Pathway prepares for programmes such as Data Science, AI, and Digital Business, and MEng Computer Science.
