Product Management is a dynamic and versatile discipline that takes responsibility for the success of a product, product line, or product area 'from cradle to grave'. This includes discovering, defining, managing development, bringing to market, and monitoring marketable products. The required know-how extends to idea generation, product design, marketing, business process and business model design, business cases, and leading various company departments. The program at HfWU is the only industry-independent Bachelor's program for Product Management at a state university in German-speaking countries. It prepares students specifically for the discovery, development, marketing, and optimization of products across different industries. The program combines economic expertise with practical projects, company cooperations, and international study options.
