About the Program

This is a supplementary subject in Italian language proficiency that can be chosen as part of the two-subject Bachelor's degree programs in the Faculty of Humanities. It provides Italian language skills worth 24 credit points and is suitable for students seeking career opportunities in Italy or in intercultural communication with Italy. It's also interesting for students who want to acquire Italian language skills for their academic studies, e.g., in art history, philology, or history. The program can be started either without prior knowledge of Italian (reaching level B2) or with prior knowledge (reaching level C1). There are two variants: 1) Italian with prior knowledge (C1) consisting of Oral and Written Communication modules 1, 2, and 3; 2) Italian without prior knowledge (B2) consisting of Basic Italian Course (A1-A2) and Oral and Written Communication modules 1 and 2.
