About the Program

The Master in Global Challenges for Sustainability is a unique international learning opportunity that addresses the urgent need for a sustainable future through innovative learning methods and real-world applications. It is a two-year degree programme (120 ECTS) offered jointly by nine universities belonging to the CHARM-EU university alliance. The program features hybrid teaching carried out synchronously by lecturers from all universities in interdisciplinary teams. Students have opportunities for physical and virtual mobility across partner universities, starting the first semester in Budapest, Dublin or Utrecht, with compulsory mobility in the second semester. The program consists of four semesters covering foundation knowledge, specialized thematic tracks (Food, Water, Life & Health or Energy & Sustainable Cities), an internship, and team projects with external stakeholders.
