About the Program

The degree program "Protestant Theology B.A." is divided into a four-semester basic and a two-semester main course of study and comprises the areas Systematic Theology, Church History, Religious Education, Biblical Studies and Religious Studies. The program is designed as a combinatorial degree program where students can combine either a bachelor's subject with a second major subject, or a bachelor's subject with two minor subjects. The study program is versatile, offering students the opportunity to pursue their own individual career prospects. When Protestant Theology is the major subject, an internship in religious pedagogy of at least 120 hours must be completed.
