What is the relevance of Protestant theology in the Church and in society? What are the foundations of Christian faith? How can key events in Church history and religious history be interpreted and understood today? In what way can key aspects of Protestant theology be implemented in practice? The program promotes specialization in the discipline as well as interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary collaboration in other research and work fields. It provides opportunities to specialize in fields such as Theology and hermeneutics of the Old Testament, Fundamental theological questions in the history of Christianity, Dogmatic orientation and ethical judgment, Theory of religious and church approaches, Religious studies foundations in the context of multi-religious societies, and Fundamental philosophical questions in the theological perspective.
