About the Program

The Bachelor degree program Public Management offers an interdisciplinary and practice-oriented study program that provides instruction in management expertise for the public sector, for public companies, and for charitable and nonprofit organizations. The standard period of study is six semesters, comprising five theory semesters and ending with a scientific practical project and thesis in the sixth semester. The first two semesters provide a thorough introduction to Business Administration, Social and Political Sciences, and Law. From the third semester, students can choose two in-depth topics from five specialization options: Personnel, Accounting and Controlling, Marketing, Event Management, and Languages. A study semester abroad may be spent in the fourth or fifth semester on a voluntary basis.
