About the Program

The university law program prepares students for a demanding professional future as lawyers in a changing society through practical and individualized legal education. In addition to solid legal foundation knowledge, students acquire valuable skills for shaping future legal areas, for example in the context of digitalization ('Legal Tech') or the working world of tomorrow ('New Work'). With this interdisciplinary understanding of innovation, the law program also provides additional knowledge in information technology, economics, or psychology. The goal of studying law is to complete the first state legal examination. Students can already earn an LL.B. after 6 semesters at BSP. The university Faculty of Law is state-recognized, successfully concept-accredited by the Science Council, and a member of the German Law Faculty Association. The university law program is also state-recognized and has successfully undergone program accreditation.
