About the Program

The Master's program in Slavic Studies consists of a major in Slavic Studies (80 CP) and an internship or AfK module (10 CP) (AfK = Extra-disciplinary Competences). The program qualifies students for various professional fields in business, publishing, public employers, media, etc. In the major, students engage in-depth with Slavic literary studies and Slavic linguistics. Language acquisition has special importance. Students choose a first Slavic language (Russian, Polish, or Czech) and a second Slavic language (Russian, Polish, Czech, Ukrainian, or Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian), which must be different from the first language.
