About the Program

The consecutive Master of Social Work is a broad full-time study program that builds on the Bachelor's degree program in Social Work at the Faculty of Applied Social Sciences. The degree qualifies for leadership, higher-level and professional activities at the Master's level. The program imparts the following competencies: enhanced methodological competence with regard to the reception and implementation of research results, expanded competencies in behavioral analysis and intervention, in-depth management knowledge, and stronger ability to participate in social science discourses and confidently represent a professional position vis-à-vis future colleagues from other disciplines.
