Sociology looks at the structures of society, from the local or family community right up to global connections. We investigate common features and differences, try to explain disparities, and formulate and test out general theories. To study sociology means understanding life within groups and communities better and recognizing connections. The curriculum of the program in Sociology is divided into three modules: methods, theories, and content/phenomena. Methods are procedures for acquiring and verifying knowledge. Content/phenomena consist of selected domains of reality.
