About the Program
Building on a relevant Bachelor's degree, the Master's program in Urban Planning at RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau at Campus Kaiserslautern deepens specific competencies to independently analyze and evaluate urban planning problem areas using scientific methods and to generate new, creative solutions. Project-oriented learning arrangements strengthen the ability to design urban planning processes and develop creative solutions for complex tasks. The program is modularly structured and can be completed in four semesters. The M.Sc. Urban Planning qualifies for independent and leading professional or scientific activities as an urban planner in accordance with the architectural laws of the federal states and comparable activities with public and private employers, as well as for self-employment.
