Strafrechtspflege

Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)

About the Program

The Criminal Justice minor program provides students with the competence to independently prepare and solve specific criminal law, criminal procedure law, and especially criminological issues. Students learn to answer basic criminal and criminal procedure law questions by applying relevant norms, to critically reflect on them, and to discuss different solution approaches. The program also enables students to work on basic criminological questions based on theory and apply them in practice. The curriculum includes the legal foundations of criminal law, selected offenses (especially against persons), norms for the education, resocialization and treatment of offenders, an orientation to the functioning of criminal justice through criminal procedure law, and the imposition and enforcement of criminal sanctions. This minor subject can be combined with a major subject in a dual-subject Bachelor's program.
