About the Program

A future-proof society requires sustainable production processes. In the international Master's programme in Sustainable Process Engineering, the knowledge and skills acquired in a Bachelor's programme in mechanical engineering, process engineering and related engineering disciplines are deepened in a project and application-oriented manner. Students learn to take sustainability criteria into account as early as the development stage of production processes and to incorporate product life cycles into process design. They are prepared to implement innovative processes and systems in industry in an efficient, safe and resource-saving manner. Language of instruction in the programme is English. Admission requires passing an online aptitude test. The M.Sc. Sustainable Process Engineering has a standard duration of four semesters and comprises 120 credit points (CP). The programme can be started in both the winter and summer semester.
