About the Program

Systems Engineering is a modern Bachelor's program that interdisciplinarily combines the fields of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, applied computer science, and management. The program focuses on developing skills for the development and management of networked systems in the context of Industry 4.0. Students learn competencies for digitization and networking of global value chains. The program includes a foundation phase covering engineering mathematics, computer science, electrical engineering, measurement technology, physics, mechanics, materials science, and construction. In the specialization phase, students choose four out of six focus areas: Applied Industrial Data Systems, Foundations of Industrial Data Systems, Measurement and Control Systems, Automation Systems, Project Management, and Digital Supply Chain Management. The program combines e-learning and in-person phases, with project-based lectures to immediately apply what has been learned.
