The master's program of the industrial engineering is a consecutive, interdisciplinary course of study and is geared to the requirements of the structures of companies in the fields of technical building equipment, environmental management and facility management. Here, specific competencies for the development and implementation of holistic system solutions are essential. The technical tasks deal with issues such as the evaluation of resource and energy efficiency, digitalization possibilities, operation as well as maintenance of technical systems and contract design. Graduates are able to work independently on complex application-oriented topics in environmental and building technology using scientific methods. In addition to the professional qualification, among other things, the ability to earn a doctorate is also to be promoted. Furthermore, great importance is attached to the development of personal competence, especially teamwork, communication and leadership skills.
