The supplementary course focuses on: - Fundamentals of interreligious education from a peace education perspective, with emphasis on preventing religiously based discrimination. - Basic knowledge about monotheistic religions (Judaism, Christianity, Islam) in the context of other world religions, world views, and philosophical traditions. - Opportunities for deepening knowledge in childhood/youth research, interreligious approach to constitutive scriptures, theology of interreligious dialogue, and ethical/legal aspects of interreligious encounters and projects. The program is aimed at students of education and humanities, especially teaching profession students, trainee teachers, and teachers of all subject combinations and school types.
