About the Program

The MBA Sales Engineer program is a continuing education, international and part-time distance learning program. The Sales Engineer represents the connection between the customer, the market, and the company. As a mediator between customer requirements and company offerings, they are jointly responsible for the necessary coordination of various functions to realize customer wishes, customer satisfaction, and for establishing innovation in the market, and ultimately for the economic success of their company. Students acquire solid management knowledge and excellent knowledge in the areas of Management of Finance, Controlling & Accounting, Corporate Planning, Risk Management, Sales Organization, Customer Service, and Sales Promotion. Since Sales Engineers also need the ability to establish good contact with conversation partners to create trust for themselves and their company, the necessary communication and social skills are taught in the program. The program follows a blended learning approach, combining self-study, in-person teaching in small groups, and an online learning platform. In-person sessions take place on three weekends per semester at Kaiserslautern University of Applied Sciences in Zweibrücken or in Augsburg.
