About the Program

Business Informatics combines three disciplines: Business Administration, Computer Science, and Business Informatics. The program focuses on developing and implementing IT systems for business applications. Business Informatics specialists ensure IT systems function securely by developing business software, evaluating and selecting information technologies, managing IT system implementation projects, and ensuring smooth system operation. Unlike pure computer scientists, they specialize in business applications with solid business administration training. The program includes project-based learning to develop skills in goal-oriented work, communication, and presentation. The study program consists of 7 semesters, with the first two forming the basic studies and semesters 3-7 forming the main studies. The 5th semester is a practical study semester, and in the 6th and 7th semesters, students choose two out of four specialization areas. The program concludes with a six-month bachelor's thesis.
