The Bachelor's program in Information Systems (Wirtschaftsinformatik) provides fundamental knowledge in business administration, computer science, and mathematics. Core study content includes: basics and concepts of information systems, fundamentals of business administration, software development, mathematical foundations, social and organizational aspects of information and communication systems, business and private law, and data protection. The program is jointly offered by the Faculty of Mathematics, Informatics and Natural Sciences and the Faculty of Business Administration. Besides the foundational courses, students can set individual focus areas through a large elective component and a practical information systems project. The project allows students to select or create methods, tools, models, and software products to solve complex tasks, apply them practically, and test them.
