Wirtschaftspsychologie

Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)

About the Program

The Bachelor's program in Business Psychology qualifies graduates to analyze organizational, communication, and influence processes using psychological concepts and methods, and to develop reliable foundations for their effective design. Through the offered fields of application, students acquire differentiated knowledge for the diverse application possibilities in the areas of impact research, communication and marketing, human resources, or work and organizational development. The program focuses on psychology for business rather than 'business studies plus psychology', training psychologists for the business world. Students learn to appropriately mediate between business objectives and human concerns. The program includes five forward-looking application fields: market and consumer psychology, media psychology, organizational psychology, personnel psychology, and cultural and depth psychology orientation. A unique feature is the cultural-psychological and depth-psychological focus, which enables students to understand the functioning of brands, media, and companies in the context of their respective cultures. The program includes practical components such as case studies, simulations, group discussions, business games, management training, and a mandatory internship.
