About the Program

The Young Talents Programme covers school years 7 to 10. Students in this programme are members of the Palucca University of Dance Dresden and simultaneously attend the integrated Secondary School. It is a part-time study programme that runs parallel to secondary school education and prepares students for admission into the BA Dance Programme. Students from the Orientation Classes can be accepted into the Young Talents Programme starting in the 7th year. External applicants may be admitted after passing an aptitude test and a successful audition. The programme includes creations by well-known choreographers and opportunities to dance with the Semperoper Ballett and participate in guest performances. The curriculum includes Ballet, Dance/Technique/Improvisation, Modern Dance, Folk Dance, and Performance Practice.
