About the Program

The Applied Sustainable Engineering (ASE) program prepares students to become versatile sustainability engineers who can reconcile high-tech society with environmental requirements. Students make their final specialization decision at the end of the fourth semester, allowing two years to explore both options. The first semester is hybrid format, allowing students to initially study from their home country. The first three semesters are taught in English with intensive German language training, preparing students for German-language instruction from the fourth semester onward. The program includes a practical semester (7th) and a Bachelor's thesis (8th).
