About the Program

As a student enrolled on the B.A. degree programme at the HSB School of Architecture you acquire the skills and knowledge required for careers in urban planning while gaining a comprehensive insight into occupational fields related to environmental design and building construction. Working in supervised teams, you will develop projects in architecture and urban planning with a high level of practical relevance. On a broad scientific and technical basis, the strongly application-oriented studies not only provide you with basic knowledge and fundamental skills in the core areas of architecture but also develop your creative-artistic skills. The programme structure encompasses 5 modules per semester, assigned to subject areas: Design, Project work/elective modules, General Studies, Technical Sciences, and Presentation and design. The study schedule is divided into three educational phases: methodology and foundation studies (1st & 2nd semester), integration and linkages (3rd & 4th semester), and practical application (5th & 6th semester).
